The Application Process

Renting a home with Eaton Realty is easy!

1. Once you've found the home you're interested in renting, contact us to confirm its availability and request an application password.
2. Complete the online application and submit your payment via PayPal using a credit card.

In addition to the online application, we require the following supporting documentation: (scan/email or fax to 813-283-4846)

1. Pay stub(s) for the past 60 days for each wage-earning applicant. Alternatively a W2, or for new jobs, a verification of salary on company letterhead. If you're self-employed, provide the most recent year's tax return and a P&L statement for the past 12 months.
2. Copies of each applicant's Government-issued ID (drivers license).
3. If you're currently renting, a Rental Verification form completed by your current landlord.

The Approval Process

Once you have submitted your application and documentation, we will, for each applicant:

1. Obtain a credit report with score and payment history
2. Run a nation-wide criminal background check
3. Verify employment
4. Review rental history

Congratulations!

Once your application is approved, we will have the lease prepared and sent to you via email. You'll print and sign the lease and return to our office with your deposit.

We'll email you with instructions each step of the way. We'll also provide you with links and phone numbers for utility and community information.

Finally, we'll meet you at your new home to deliver keys, and orient you with the home's various systems and features.
